Airlines that fly to the Caribbean

The two main UK carriers to the Caribbean are Virgin Atlantic and British Airways. Indirect services are available with KLM, Air France, Iberia, and US airlines like American, Delta, and United. The shortest route is London to Barbados, but flight times to other islands are similar. Direct services also operate from London to smaller islands such as the Turks & Caicos and the Cayman Islands. Flights to Grenada and Tobago are less frequent and may include a stop at another Caribbean island.

Flights to the Bahamas

Flights to the Dominican Republic

The main airport is Punta Cana, with British Airways offering direct flights from London. Depending on your destination, it may be more cost-effective to fly indirect to Puerto Plata (POP), La Romana (LRM), or Santo Domingo (SDQ).

Flights to St Kitts

British Airways provides the most direct option from London, with a stopover in Antigua. Flights are only available on select days, so flexible dates are advised. Indirect routes often connect via New York or another Caribbean hub such as Barbados.

Flights to Curacao

There are no direct flights from the UK. The best route is via Amsterdam with KLM, making Curacao an excellent choice for regional UK departures. KLM operates from most UK airports, and The Flights Guru can connect you with the best itineraries.

Flights to the Virgin Islands

Travel to the US Virgin Islands through US hubs like New York. St Thomas (STT) and St Croix (STX) are served by Delta and American Airlines. For the British Virgin Islands, Tortola (EIS) on Beef Island is the main airport.

Flights to Guadeloupe

The best option is connecting through Paris with Air France, which offers strong links from Birmingham, Manchester, and Scotland to Guadeloupe (PTP).

Flights to St Maarten

There are no direct flights from London. The most convenient routes are with US carriers via East Coast airports such as New York. From there, onward connections to St Maarten (SXM) are available.
